Mesotherapy is a relatively new and promising technique whereby microscopic quantities of vitamins, pharmaceuticals and proteins are injected into the skin of face or body to rejuvenate and treat problem areas.

These ‘medicinal bullets’ are delivered directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) that are highly specific to the condition being treated. This nourishes and rejuvenates the skin by promoting the production of collagen and elastin. Based on current research, mesotherapy can be used to eliminate cellulite, promote weight loss, reduce pigmentation as well as enhance skin tone and texture.

How long does the treatment take?

A special anesthetic cream is applied for approximately 30 minutes before your treatment to ensure maximal comfort. The mesotherapy treatment itself takes between 20 to 30 minutes.

What skin problems can be treated with mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions such as dry & dull skin, acne, pigmentations, uneven skin tone, saggy skin, depressed acne scars, dark eye circles and fat reduction.

How does Mesotherapy work?

The procedure involves tiny superficial injections of a customized cocktail of mesotherapy ingredients directly into the epidermis and mesoderm (middle layer). This helps to nourish and rejuvenate, boost cell activity and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

After a course of Mesotherapy injections your skin will look hydrated, glowing, radiant and firmer.

Is the treatment painful?

The treatment is entirely painless as we will apply an anesthetic cream prior to procedure.

What can I expect after my treatment?

It is recommended that you have some time to recover after your Mesotherapy treatment. You may experience some superficial swelling, which will settle within 24-48 hours. Although rare, other possible side effects include the appearance of some small needle marks which will also resolve within a few days. Treatment around the eye area may take longer to settle – possibly 5-7 days.

How long will the results last?

For optimum results, we recommend a course of 4-6 treatments of Mesotherapy. Once you complete the recommended course, the results can last from 12-18 months.

Can I combine other anti-ageing treatments with Mesotherapy?

Yes you can. For optimum results, mesotherapy can be performed with additional rejuvenation treatments such as Anti-Wrinkle Injections and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). We normally advise our clients to leave intervals of 3-4 weeks between Mesotherapy treatments for best results.
